Paducah's Purple Toad Winery has won the prestigious “2014 Fruit Wine of the Year” at the 2014 Indy International Wine Competition, one of the largest competitions in the US with over 2,200 commercial entries.

Lauren’s Blackberry garnered Purple Toad Winery the first “Best of Category” win by a Kentucky winery at the competition since 2006.

Along with the "2014 Fruit Wine of the Year" Purple Toad Winery won three “Best of Class” awards for Lauren’s Blackberry, Black & Bruised, & Black Peach.

The Indy International Wine Competition is celebrating its 23rd year, and featured entries from 40 States and 15 countries.
