A section of Woodville Road in western McCracken County will be closed this week to replace a railroad crossing.

Beginning on Monday, a contractor for P&L Railroad will begin construction on the rail crossing in the Heath area near the Bradford Road intersection.

Woodville Road is expected to close at this site around 7 AM and is expected to remain closed for approximately one week.

The contractor for P&L Railroad has also noted plans for a rail crossing upgrade along the KY 139 and KY 293 Truck Bypass/Seminary Street in Princeton starting September 15, which is expected to take two days.
