If you have never played tennis before but would like to learn, the Tennis Apprentice clinic is coming up this May.

The clinic offers four sessions of instruction followed by four sessions of match play, putting into practice what you have learned.

Held at the Chad Gamble Tennis Courts at Paducah Tilghman High School, the clinic will include instruction dates on May 2, 4, 9, and 11 from 6-7:30 pm, and match play dates on May 16, 18, 23, and 25 from 6-7:30 pm. (Note: May 4 session will be held at the Noble Park Tennis Courts)

Tennis basics taught through on court instruction will include how to swing the racket (forehand and backhand), serve, volley, where to stand, scorekeeping, basis rules, and tennis etiquette. 

Cost for Tennis Apprentice is $99. The fee includes a new Head tennis racquet, USTA membership for 1 year, subscription to a bi-monthly tennis magazine for 1 year, 4 sessions of professional instruction, 4 sessions of match play and best of all, learning to play the sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime!
