Riverfront Concert Series Kicks Off Thursday

The Parks & Recreation Department invites everyone to Paducah’s riverfront Thursday, June 6 to kick off the Riverfront Concert Series with an evening of bluegrass music.  Enjoy sounds, sunset, and summertime with Classy & Grassy hitting the stage from 6 until 7 p.m. and then Wood & Wire from 7 until 8:30 p.m. 
 
The free concerts, featuring a variety of music genres, are held on select Thursday and Saturday evenings this summer on Wilson Stage at the riverfront.  The concerts are partnerships of local and/or up-and-coming artists taking the stage for the first hour starting at 6 p.m.  The nationally-known artists entertain the crowds from 7 until 8:30 p.m. 

This is the sixth year for the Riverfront Concert Series organized by the Parks & Recreation Department.  Additional 2019 Concert dates are Saturday, June 22; Thursday, July 4; Saturday, July 20: Thursday, August 1; and Saturday, August 17.
