The Paducah Parks & Recreation Department invites everyone to the Farmers' Market near Jefferson Street on Saturday, June 22 for the Riverfront Concert Series. Enjoy sounds, sunset and summertime with The Claudettes hitting the stage from 6 until 7 pm, and then Dwight & Nicole from 7 until 8:30 pm.
The event, which was originally taking place at the riverfront stage, had to be moved to the Farmers Market due to the water level of the Ohio River.
The free concerts, featuring a variety of music genres, are held on select Thursday and Saturday evenings this summer, typically on Wilson Stage at the riverfront. The concerts are partnerships of local and/or up-and-coming artists taking the stage for the first hour starting at 6 pm. The nationally-known artists entertain the crowds from 7-8:30 pm.
This is the sixth year for the Riverfront Concert Series organized by the Parks & Recreation Department. Additional 2019 Concert dates are Thursday, July 4 (which has extended times); Saturday, July 20th; Thursday, August 1; and Saturday, August 17.
