According to the, "Bear on the Air," from WiLLiE 102.1, who participates every year, the decision to postpone the event was made after hearing precautions from national, state and local officials about having a large gathering. These statements are due to the threat of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The event benefits Lotus, the regional children’s advocacy center and sexual assault program serving all eight counties of the Purchase Area. It will be rescheduled for a later date.
