A second man has been arrested in connection to a traffic stop last Wednesday that resulted in the seizure of fentanyl and other pills.

Drug detectives with the Paducah Police Department stopped a vehicle Wednesday afternoon at Elmdale Drive and Jameswood Avenue. During the stop, 26-year-old Reco Cunningham was arrested after he reportedly gave one of the detectives a plastic bag that he had been hiding beneath him, which contained suspected oxycodone/fentanyl pills and oxycodone/acetaminophen pills.

Cunningham was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance at that time.

According to Paducah Police, the driver, 23-year-old Daniel Seitzinger, was also in possession of drugs, but officers chose not to arrest him at that time. Seitzinger came to the police department Monday morning to meet with detectives and was arrested on a charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

He was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
