McCracken County Judge-Executive Craig Clymer's Office says it will hold a second unity meeting on Wednesday.

The one-hour meeting will begin at 4 p.m. in Conference Room A at the McCracken County Courthouse.

The following people have been invited to participate:

Paducah Police Chief Brian Laird 
McCracken County Sheriff Matt Carter
Paducah City Commissioner Richard Abraham
Mr. George Bray
Mr. Dujuan Thomas
Mr. J. W. Cleary
Mr. Corbin Snardon
Mr. Shawn Maxie
Mr. Benny Heady
Ms. Bernice Belt

Clymer's office says the meeting's purpose is to provide a forum for open and frank conversation regarding our community’s role in addressing race relations, specifically between police and African American citizens

There will be no media presence or public access to the meeting. Only invitees are allowed to participate. Questions from the media will be taken immediately following the meeting.

The last unity meeting at the courthouse was held on June 10.
