The McCracken County Sheriff's Office is offering free tests to see if methamphetamine is contaminated with the coronavirus, in an apparent joke post on social media.

In a Friday morning Facebook post, the agency says anyone can bring their locally purchased meth in and have it tested free of charge. They also offer to send a deputy out to do an in-home test if requested.

The novel coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19, has infected thousands of people in more than 50 countries.

More than 2,700 people have died from the disease.
