Sheriff's Office Seeks Man in Firework Incident

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a man suspected of throwing a lit firework into another man's home on July 4th.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says it responded to an apartment on College Avenue where a man reported that several people had been lighting fireworks in the parking lot. As he entered his apartment, he said another man threw a lit firework inside. The firework exploded, catching the victim's couch on fire. The victim reported that he was able to extinguish the fire before it spread.

Deputies obtained a photograph of the man suspected of throwing the firework into the apartment.
