Two area pregnancy care organizations are sponsoring a free abstinence event for teens on Saturday, March 9.

The Silver Ring Thing's "Rewind Tour" will be at Paducah Tilghman High School Auditorium, 2400 Washington Street in Paducah from 6-8 pm. Silver Ring Thing defies the norms of culture and inspires students to a pure life centered in Jesus Christ.

So many of us journey through life without a plan. We run from one thing to the next but rarely pause, think, and look where we're going. Every day we make choices about life, love, dating, faith, sex, and most mistakes come from living only for the moment, not thinking about tomorrow.

The emphasis of the event is following God's plan for sex, to realize the future reward. The Rewind Tour looks into the lives of 13 teens and young adults as they share their journey-the struggles and successes, the good and the bad. These stories will inspire students to choose what's most in line with God's plan for their lives. While we can't go back and change the past, each new moment is a chance to say, "How can I Begin With the End in Mind?"

This event is sponsored by Hope Unlimited Family Care Center & Medical Clinic, Inc., and The Hope Center. Special musical artist 3union will be playing from 8:15-9pm. SRT rings will be available to purchase as a sign of commitment for $20.
