Sinkhole Opens Up on Kentucky Ave in Paducah

An apparent sinkhole has opened up on the 3200 block of Kentucky Ave in Paducah. 

Officials have blocked off the impacted area of the street.  It is unknown whether the hole is expected to get bigger, or whether the hole has stabilized. 

Sinkholes are not uncommon across Kentucky, although sinkholes in the Paducah area don't happen too often.
