Now that Sky West has given assurance that they will be flying 50-seat jets in and out of Barkley Regional Airport for at least two more years, spokesman Wes Horrocks says the goal now is to be in Paducah even longer.

"Our goal is to be here, working directly with the community. We want to build this service so that it's sustainable over the long term."

Horrocks says Sky West has structured it's flights in and out of Paducah so that people can fly to Chicago early and spend the day or catch connecting flights to anywhere else in the world.
