According to a spokesperson for Paducah Public Schools, faculty at Morgan Elementary School learned that a first-grade student had a pocket knife he had brought from home. The knife was taken from the child and he was removed from class.
The school district says there was no specific threat made to anyone at the school, and all other students were safe in class.
