Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Drug Arrest

A Paducah woman was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop.

After observing a suspicious vehicle parked in the grass at Mt. Kenton Cemetery on 2535 Lone Oak Road, deputies approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver, 39-year-old Deanna DePriest.

Deputies discovered that DePriest was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. She had also been operating the vehicle while under the influence.

DePriest was placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia,2nd offence possession of methamphetamine, and DUI.

She was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
