Three Face Drug Charges

PADUCAH, KY - Two Paducah men, and a Brookport, IL woman were arrested Friday afternoon on various drug offenses.
At around 2:45 pm Friday, McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives executed a search warrant at 1504 North 10th Street in Paducah, where they found 38-year-old Frank Rosario and 47-year-old Luis Candelaria, both of Paducah, outside near the rear of the home. During the search, detectives seized a baggy containing 100 doses of Dilaudid and several hundred dollars believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales. While searching a detached garage, detectives also seized numerous firearms, additional Diluadid, Methadone and Suboxone.
Candelaria is charged with Trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance- Dilaudid (a class “C” felony punishable by 5-10 years in prison. Roasrio is charged with Complicity to trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance- Dilaudid (a class “C” felony punishable by 5-10 years in prison), Possession of a 1st degree controlled substance- Methadone and possession of a 2nd degree controlled substance-Suboxone. Both suspects were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
In a separate investigation, Detectives obtained information alleging that 46-year-old Amanda Jones, of Brookport, was selling controlled substances in McCracken County. Last Wednesday, undercover detectives approached Jones and were able to purchase Heroin and Morphine from her.
Jones was arrested without incident on North 8th Street in Paducah at around 9:00 pm Friday. She is charged with Trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance- Heroin and trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance- Morphine (a “C” felony punishable by 5-10 years in prison). She was taken to McCracken County Regional Jail.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges are likely.
