Traffic Shift on US 60 Near Mall Begins Tuesday

A contractor plans a traffic shift along the US 60 work zone near Kentucky Oaks Mall beginning Tuesday night.

Traffic will shift to the outside lanes along US 60 between Coleman Road and New Holt Road to allow work along the median.

The shift may remain in place as late as Thursday night.

Plans are still in place for US 60 and ramps at the exit 4 interchange to be closed for several weeks this summer, starting some time after the Independence Day holiday. KYTC engineers anticipate being able to give about two weeks advance notice, along with a map to assist drivers with detour routes.
