A Livingston County woman faces drug charges in McCracken County.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop late Monday night for traffic violations. Deputies learned that the passenger, 48-year-old Pamela Williams of Grand Rivers, had thrown a bottle of prescription pills underneath the vehicle in an attempt to hide them.

According to deputies, the pill bottle contained Oxycodone.

Williams was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail. She's charged with possession of controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in the proper container and tampering with physical evidence.
