The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies conducted a traffic stop for registration violations.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies found several open alcoholic beverage containers. The driver, 53-year-old Joel Bickerstaff, of, Wickliffe, was cited accordingly.
A passenger, 40-year-old Darin Gibson, was allegedly found to have methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Gibson was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
