Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges for Murray Man

A Murray man was arrested Wednesday on drug charges after a traffic stop.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a vehicle after noticing a traffic violation.

Deputies spoke with the driver, 46-year-old Robert Dennis, and then performed a search of his vehicle. Deputies say that during the search they discovered marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

Dennis is being charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree first offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no rearview mirror.

Dennis was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
