A Paducah man faces drug charges after a traffic stop Friday morning.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies pulled over a vehicle at around 3 a.m. on John Puryear Drive for traffic violations.

Deputies said they arrested the driver, 28-year-old Patrick Hollowell after a police dog alerted on the presence of drugs coming from the vehicle. A search reportedly revealed drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.

Hollowell was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail, where he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
