A Paducah woman is facing drug charges after a traffic stop.

On Thursday, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office performed a traffic stop after reportedly noticing a traffic violation.

During the stop, deputies say it was determined that the passenger, 27-year-old Savanah Adams, had an active felony warrant out of McCracken County. According to deputies, she was also found to be in possession of oxycodone pills.

Adams was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

She is being charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (opiates) first offense, and the warrant charging her with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) first offense.
