Traffic Stop Leads to Man's Arrest on Meth Charges

A traffic stop late Monday night in McCracken County led to a drug arrest.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies conducted a traffic stop around 11:30 pm on a vehicle for traffic violations. Deputies said the stop was conducted on Wayne Sullivan Drive after the vehicle was seen traveling with no headlights.

The driver was identified as 40-year-old Christopher Haskins, of Paducah. During a search of the vehicle, deputies reportedly found methamphetamine, as well as items of drug paraphernalia.

Haskins was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail. He's charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to illuminate head lamps.
