A traffic stop late Tuesday night in McCracken County led to a man's arrest.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and Mohawk Drive just before midnight. During the course of the stop, it was determined that the driver, 32-year-old Tyler Thomas, was under the influence of alcohol.

It was also discovered that Thomas was driving with a suspended operator’s license. The suspension was a result of a previous DUI conviction.

Thomas was placed under arrest and charged with DUI 4th or greater offense (class D felony) and driving on a DUI-suspended license. He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
