A McCracken County man is facing numerous charges after a traffic stop.
On Thursday, McCracken County deputies and Drug Division detectives performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on HC Mathis Drive after a previous investigation allegedly gave them insight that a wanted fugitive would be in the vehicle.
After performing the traffic stop, deputies located 33-year-old Jeremy Woods of McCracken County. Woods reportedly gave deputies a fake name at first, but provided his real name a short time later.
Deputies say Woods has three active warrants out for his arrest. He also reportedly had marijuana on him at the time of his arrest.
Woods was lodged in the McCracken County Jail. He is being charged with fourth degree assault with minor injuries, second degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, parole violation, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
