A Paducah woman is facing drug charges after a traffic stop.

On Wednesday, deputies and detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Husband Road.

Deputies say the driver was identified as 23-year-old Racheal L. Land. During the traffic stop, K-9 deputy Oscar arrived and indicated that their could be drugs within the vehicle. A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed syringes and methamphetamine.

Land was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

She is being charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding 11 miles per hour over the speed limit.
