Two people were arrested early Friday morning on drug charges and on outstanding warrants.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, at approximately 2:00 am, deputies observed 27-year-old Colton Williams, of Paducah, enter the Five Star gas station on John Puryear Drive. Deputies had knowledge Williams had active warrants for his arrest. Williams was taken into custody without incident. A search revealed approximately 1.4 grams of methamphetamine.

Deputies also made contact with 34-year-old Andrea Williams, of Calvert City, at the same location. A search of the vehicle revealed an additional 1.4 ounces of methamphetamine, along with numerous items of paraphernalia and items indicating the sale of narcotics.

Deputies said Andrea Williams was out on bond from Marshall County at the time of her arrest, for prior methamphetamine charges. Both were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Andrea Williams was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Colton Williams was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also arrested on two McCracken County bench warrants for failure to appear, and two Marshall County bench warrants for probation violations.
