Two people were charged with drug offenses Sunday evening after a traffic stop in McCracken County.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle shortly after 6 p.m. for a traffic violation on Schneidman Road.

The deputy learned the driver, 57-year-old Hobart White of Symsonia had a suspended drivers license.

Deputies said White was found to be in possession of marijuana. His passenger, 51-year-old Sharon Hendrickson, also of Symsonia, was found to be in possession of marijuana, a methamphetamine pipe, and methamphetamine. Hendrickson also had an active warrant for her arrest out of Graves County for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

White was cited on charges of possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license, no registration plates, and failure to or improper signal. Hendrickson was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on the Graves County warrant.
