US 45 Crash Injures Paducah Woman

A Paducah woman was injured Tuesday morning in a crash near Lone Oak.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded at around 9:00 a.m. to a crash at the intersection of US 45 and Krebs Station Road.

The investigation reportedly showed 27-year-old Tierra Lawrence of Paducah was driving north on US 45, approaching the intersection of US 45 and Krebs Station Road, when 79-year-old Larry Brown of Hickory attempted to cross US 45, pulling into her path.

Lawrence was taken to Lourdes Hospital by a family member for treatment of her injuries. Both Brown and a passenger in his vehicle, 64-year-old Sarah McManus of Hickory were uninjured. Deputies said everyone involved was properly restrained when the crash happened.

US Hwy 45 north was reduced to one lane for about 30 minutes after the crash.
