One person was injured Sunday when a vehicle collided with a bicycle along Lone Oak Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened at the entrance to the Superway gas station. The driver of the vehicle, 45-year-old William Herzog, of Gilbertsville, told deputies he was attempting to pull back onto Lone Oak Road and did not see the bicycle, causing the collision.

The bicyclist, 22-year-old Joseph Perrault, of Paducah, was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment of his injuries. No one in the Herzog vehicle was injured.
