WKCTC Basketball Club Cancels 2020 Season

West Kentucky Community and Technical College's basketball club, the West Kentucky Stars, has cancelled its 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Head Basketball Coach Michael Chumbler said the decision was made to protect the health of athletes, faculty and students.

"The health of our student athletes, students, faculty and staff and the community are of upmost importance to us at WKCTC," Chumbler said. "I stand behind and support this decision 100 percent."

Chumbler said he appreciates the support of WKCTC and the community for the West Kentucky Stars. 
"The atmosphere created for us at this college is special. We plan to be back in the 2021-2022 season. Stay safe." he said.
