WKCTC Live began last week and will continue through July 9. The event features a panel of college experts and a moderator each Monday and Thursday at 3 pm on the college's Facebook and YouTube channels.
"WKCTC Live is the perfect opportunity for us to have the conversations our students and their families need to have with our college representatives during this time of COVID-19," said Mary Beth Head, WKCTC Live creator/moderator and web services manager. "We are here for them."
This Thursday's show will focus on answering questions from parents. The panel will include K-12 Partnerships and Community Scholarship Program Director Dr. Lisa Stephenson, Admissions Director Trent Johnson, and West Kentucky College Academy Director Dr. Lorry Beth Wilson.
The first two show's discussed summer enrollment and the benefits of attending the college and can still be viewed on the college's Facebook page or YouTube Channel. Future WKCTC Live topics include Financial Aid 101 and Work Ready Scholarship, GED and GED Plus, Student Support and Engagement and Getting Started at WKCTC, and Getting Back to the Workforce.
WKCTC Live will not be posted on Memorial Day but will return on Thursday, May 28.
