Partake in Paducah and West Kentucky Star have announced a media partnership.

WestKentuckyStar.com aims to provide 24/7 news, sports, weather and other local information of interest to the residents of western Kentucky and southern Illinois. Beginning immediately, Partake In Paducah’s human interest stories will now be part of that content lineup.

“Our partnership with Partake in Paducah is such an exciting opportunity.  The community is naturally concerned about the news that negatively impacts all of us”, says Jamie Futrell, General Manager for West Kentucky Star.  “As a news organization, it is easy to get lost in that information and therefore devote the majority of our resources to gathering that type of information. We believe that combining the high traffic of West Kentucky Star with the work Partake In Paducah is doing to share the human interest stories that have yet to be told in our community is the perfect complement to the news content we are known for.”

“We’re honored to have West Kentucky Star as our newest partner,” adds Jonas Neihoff, President of Socially Present, the managing team behind Partake in Paducah. “Our goal is to see that Paducah’s story is always being told through the eyes of the people who call Paducah home. West Kentucky Star has amassed a significant following. We’re thrilled to see our stories being shared in a way that gives a broader reach to the voices of our community members.”

“The glimpses that Partake in Paducah gives us into the lives of local restaurants, artists, businesses and so much more exemplifies the diversity we have in Western Kentucky,” concludes Karie Thornton, Digital Sales Director of Bristol Broadcasting. “We could not be happier to be a vehicle to deliver that message consistently on the WestKentuckyStar.com. We love the idea of shining a positive light on the communities we serve.”
