Murray State University will host three finalists this week for the again-vacant position of provost.

According to a campus-wide email sent out Friday, the finalists will meet with campus members and the public beginning Monday at Wrather Hall's Auditorium.

The first of the finalists to participate in the town hall meetings is Dr. Aimee Shouse, currently the Associate Provost at Tarleton State University.

On Tuesday, the second finalist is Dr. Brian Parr, current dean of Murray State’s Hutson School of Agriculture.

On Wednesday ,  Dr. Paul Twigg, Dean of Arts and Sciences at the University of Nebraska at Kearny will participate in the town hall meeting.

Each meeting will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Murray State has been searching for a replacement for Dr. Tim Todd, who resigned from the position last November. The school had named a provost back in December, but the person chosen later declined to take the position.
