UPDATE: Lyon County man dead in single-vehicle crash in Calvert City

There is an update on the crash in Calvert City from Friday.

A Lyon County man died as a result of that single-vehicle crash in Calvert City.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m. near the intersection of Industrial Parkway and Gilbertsville Highway, just east of the plants in Calvert. Marshall County Coroner Kenny Pratt confirmed to West Kentucky Star that 73-year-old Perry Stanley of Kuttawa died as a result of that crash. An autopsy was performed on Saturday. 

The road was closed for about 2 hours while the crash was investigated.
