One person dead and second injured in Sunday traffic accident

A Paducah man is dead and another was injured in a roll over traffic accident Sunday.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they were called about 10 am to the 4600 block of Lovelaceville Road.

64-year-old Kevin Yarbrough was travelling westbound on Lovelaceville Road and according to witnesses was going at a high rate of speed when his SUV went out of control at a curve and rolled multiple times before coming to rest upside down in a field.

Yarbrough was pronounced dead at a local hospital while a passenger, 40 year old Randy Strickland, also of Paducah, was flown to an out of state hospital for treatment.
