One injured in McCracken County accident involving semi on I-24

One person was treated for injuries following a Wednesday afternoon traffic accident on I-24 in McCracken County.

The accident occured just after noon eastbound near the Marshall County line when a tractor trailer driven by Owen Macleod of Hubbard, Ohio was reentering the interstate after pulling off to check the load he was carrying.

A vehicle driven by Jessica Minter of Benton was unable to avoid a collision as the semi entered the lane.

Minter was taken to a local hopsital for treatment.
