Paducah Police show off new patriotic-themed cruiser

The Paducah Police Department revealed a patriotic-themed police cruiser in time to hit the streets for the July Fourth holiday weekend.

The new red, white and blue vehicle is fully equipped the same as traditional cruisers for use on the street. But it's intended to serve a dual purpose of drawing attention to the police department and the opportunities offered in a law enforcement career.

The attention-getting cruiser will see particular duties on display at high-profile community events.
