Paducah man jailed following drug investigation

A Paducah man was arrested on drug trafficking charges after the search of a home Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities searched the home of 41-year-old Corey A. Thomas  on North 26th Street as part of an ongoing drug investigation.  

Police said they found two pounds of synthetic marijuana, marijuana, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

Detectives also reportedly seized $7,130 believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.

Charges for Thomas included trafficking in synthetic drugs and possession of marijuana.
