Paducah's weekend shooting on Boyd Street has turned deadly as one of the shooting victims has died.

On Wednesday at a Nashville hospital, 20-year-old Jamiyah Walker of Paducah was removed from life support and passed away.

Walker had been hospitalized since the shooting last Saturday morning. She was pregnant at the time of the incident, and the unborn child also did not survive.

Due to the death of her unborn child, detectives consulted with the McCracken Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and additional charges have been filed.

Capus J. Adams, Malik Copeland, and the 16-year-old juvenile male have been charged with complicity to commit first-degree murder, and complicity to commit first-degree fetal homicide.

One other man, 20-year-old Jystacye D. Pitts of Union City. was also arrested and is still charged with wanton endangerment.

Two other women were injured in the shooting. At last report, a 23-year-old woman was listed in critical but stable condition at an out-of-state hospital. A third woman was treated and released last weekend from a local hospital.
