Brief power outage affects Lyon, Crittenden, Caldwell counties

Nearly 400 customers lost power in portions of Caldwell, Crittenden and Lyon counties on Tuesday afternoon.

WPKY reported that Caldwell County Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin said the outage in the Fredonia area affected 280 customers in Caldwell County, 20 in Lyon County and nearly another 100 in Crittenden County. 

The outage was reported at 3:30 pm, and power was restored by early Tuesday evening.. 

It's not known what caused the disruption.
