Sentencing is coming up next month for a Paducah man convicted of trafficking in methamphetamine.

Terry Gilbert was found guilty during a trial last week following a 2024 investigation by Paducah Police. The jury returned a verdict in the case after deliberating for just 30 minutes. Gilbert faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in November.

Paducah Police highlight this case to show the coordinated efforts of the Department and the Commonwealth’s Attorney, who led the prosecution. They said that it sends a message that Paducah is not going to be an easy place to do business if your business is illegal drugs.

Illegal drug activity can be reported anonymously to West Kentucky Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL or by clicking here.
