Smithland man injured in rollover accident

A Smithland man was treated after a rollover crash on Thursday.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they were called around 12:20 pm to a single vehicle crash in the 6700 block of Lovelaceville Road.

Investigators said 19-year-old Shane Freiberg was attempting to pass a vehicle when he ran off the roadway and his vehicle overturned.

Freiberg was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
