Illinois announces 250 new cases of COVID-19, still none in the southern seven area.

The Illinois Department of Public Health has announced 250 new cases of COVID-19 across the state, along with four deaths including a Chicago resident in his 50s, two Cook County residents in their 60s, and a DuPage County resident in her 90s.

Grundy County is the newest in the list of County's reporting the virus. Currently a total of 1,535 cases across 32 counties are being reported across the state.

Everyone is encouraged to donate any protective equipment they may have by emailing PPE.donations@illinois.gov. Anyone with COVID-19 related health questions is encouraged to call the hotline at 1-800-889-3931, or by emailing dph.sick@illinois.gov
