Cairo Man Dies in Alexander County Crash

A Cairo man was killed Tuesday morning in a crash in Alexander County.

The Illinois Police says 34-year-old Anthony Duncan was driving south on Illinois 3 near East Side Drive shortly before 1 a.m., when he ran off the road and hit a tree.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by the Alexander County Coroner.

The road was closed for about two hours after the crash.
