There is an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms across most of southeast Missouri and parts of southwest Illinois. There is a slight risk extending east to Evansville and as far south as I-69 in western Kentucky. A marginal risk extends over the rest of the area.
Severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening. Large hail is the main threat initially, then an increasing damaging wind threat this evening.
An isolated tornado is possible.
