Dongola Man Gets 5 Years for Strangling His Ex

Union County State's Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced Tuesday that 22-year-old William J. Golliher of Dongola has been sentenced to five years in state prison.

Golliher was charged with aggravated domestic battery after he entered his ex-girlfriend's home on August 20 and strangled her. He was arrested afterwards by the Union County Sheriff's Office.
