Gun Charges For Metropolis Man
By West Kentucky Star Staff
METROPOLIS - A Metropolis man was arrested Friday after police got a call about a domestic disturbance involving a gun.

The Metropolis Police Department says officers responded to a disturbance at a home in the 700 block of Ferry Street. The caller told police she had taken a gun away from 42-year-old Delman Elmore, and she was afraid he was going to harm himself.

Officers met with the caller who gave the officers the gun. Elmore refused to speak with a counselor. A computer check showed he had a revoked FOID card.

Elmore was arrested and taken to the Massac Memorial Hospital for evaluation. He was booked into the Massac County Detention Center.
