Winter Weather Advisory: Freezing Drizzle

A winter weather advisory continues for all of southern Illinois, and parts of western Kentucky and southeast Missouri until 9 a.m. today.

The National Weather Service says very light freezing rain or freezing drizzle is expected, with accumulations possible from a trace to less than a tenth of an inch.

All of southern Illinois and most of southeast Missouri are included in the advisory. Ballard, Caldwell, Carlisle, Crittenden, Livingston, Lyon, McCracken, and Marshall counties are also included. 

There could be hazardous conditions during the morning commute.
