A total of ten minor earthquakes have rumbled in a three-county area of the New Madrid Fault over the past week.
The tremors have occurred in New Madrid County and Mississippi County in Missouri, along with Lake County, Tennessee. This is historically one of the most active areas for such frequent movements, the vast majority never felt by people.
The latest flurry of minor tremors began Friday, Nov. 21 through early this morning.

Magnitude 1.7 - near Ridgely, Tennessee
Nov 24 - 3:21 p.m.
Magnitude 1.8 -near Howardville, Missouri
Nov 24 - 11:10 p.m.
Magnitude 1.2 - near Ridgely, Tennessee
Nov 25 - 4:34 a.m.
Magnitude 1.3 - near Pinhook, Missouri
Nov 27 - 12:16 a.m.
Magnitude 1.9 - near Ridgely, Tennessee
Nov 27 - 4:11 a.m.
Magnitude 2.3 - near Marston, Missouri
Nov 27 - 1:34 p.m.
Magnitude 1.5 - near Ridgely, Tennessee
November 27 - 4:09 p.m.
Magnitude 1.9 - near Steele, Missouri
Nov 28 - 1:51 a.m.
